Nirvana Piercing Procedures In common with any other licensed activities, Body Piercing must comply with various restrictions and regulations which have been put in place to protect the consumer from unlicensed and unscrupulous practitioners. The rules are there for a reason, so please don’t be annoyed or irritated if you are asked to prove your age and/or identity with photographic i.d.
At “Nirvana” we will carry out certain piercing on customers aged 14 and 15 who are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. That person will have to verify your age, countersign your consent form and be present while the actual piercing is carried out. For people of this age, their are no exceptions, Aunt’s, big sisters, cousins or Grandparents will not be accepted. Apologies.
Under our licensing agreement, everyone wanting to be pierced must fill in a consent form containing information on name, address, date of birth and relevant medical history, as well as the piercing to be conducted and the jewellery to be used. These forms are held securely and the information held, shared with no other person or organisation. There are a small number of piercing that we will not carry out on anybody under the age of 18 under any circumstances.
If you have any doubts about these issues, please feel free to either phone or email us for a quick answer. After your piecing has been carried out, your piercer will spend time running through the appropriate aftercare needed with details on what should be seen as “normal”. Printed aftercare will also be given out to help you heal your piercing quickly and with as little chance of problems as possible.
